Beijing China in photos – through the lens edition
The best of Beijing China in photographs is one of my favourite ‘through the lens editions‘ as I was able to visit the Forbidden City, which made my horrendous photography skills look, well . . . acceptable. The buildings their are just so old with so much rich history and you can see how delicate they are.
But realistically I wasn’t in Beijing for the Forbidden City, to tell you the truth that was pretty much a bonus feature among the many others Beijing offered up. The main reason for the trip to Beijing was for my Great Wall of China hike, which I nearly got locked up for. Luckily I was able to escape that possibly deadly (jail sentence) situation and could cruise about Beijing seeing the sites for another few days to get my photography on.
With camera in hand, mask on face and camelback full of fresh water I scaled the streets, conquered the ginormous tourist attractions such as the Temple of Heaven and the Forbidden City in between breaks for cheap Chinese food.
All in all though to be honest, Beijing really wasn’t for me but it sure did have a lot of cool things to photograph, check them out below;
