Little Truffle

This is a special restaurant which is dedicated to the locals of the Gold Coast and justifies its place on top of this.

With its menu of modern Australian mixed in with some European influences that will satisfy even the most judgmental of all taste buds. Little Truffle’s signature dishes range from Morten Bay bugs with prawns and tortellini, confit duck cooked in a sous vide machine (water circulator) or a vegetable tempura zucchini with Persian feta, roasted pine nuts and parsley with a special in house tomato relish.



136 Duringan Street, Southport

Allure is a traditional restaurant with a menu consisting of Australian beef and fresh seafood, right from the Main Beach trawlers on the coast. Once voted as the second best restaurant in Australia! Allure is open from Wednesday to Sunday evenings where you can be delighted with its phenomenally tasting menu.



Soul, Surfers Paradise

Steve Szabo, the award winning executive chef, is the guru in the kitchen who regularly changes dishes depending on what produce Steve can get a hold of from around Australia. However a new menu will be out soon with a $39 two-course lunch special that is a little less fine dining and has more quick but good meals. Open for breakfast every day, lunches are Tuesday to Sunday and dinner Tuesday to Saturdays, but be sure to book in advance.


The Fish House

Just around the corner from me in Burleigh is the new specialty seafood restaurant “The Fish House”. Boasting the freshest seafood on the Gold Coast, it is flown in from Melbourne daily for the steadiest and freshest supply.

The Seafood here is well complimented with a great wine selection under the supervision of their sommelier team. Being a small restaurant, sitting only 70, this is one you need to book in early.


Social Eating House & Bar

137/3 Oracle Boulevard, Broadbeach

This is a fine dining tapas bar that will wow your palate with delights. Some of their specialty dishes include Tweed Valley king prawns and a slow cooked, and by slow that is a 10 hour overnight cooking period for their delicious lamb shoulder.



Soul 8 The Esplanade, Surfers Paradise

Elston is one of the newer additions to the list of best Gold Coast fine dining restaurants. Being beach front in Surfers Paradise, Elston offers a holistic and rustic menu. With dishes such as, lamb, fish, duck and additional grill options along with something for the kids too.


Moo Moo (Bar and Grill)

Voted the top steak house on the Gold Coast, Moo Moo is famous for its 18 different types of cuts. Being around the block for over 10 years, this restaurant serves up time and time again incredibly delicious steaks in a happening part of the Gold Coast, Broadbeach.
